Roasted onions with balsamic vinegar

Ingredients for 4 people
  • 4 medium white onions
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper
Preparation
  • Peel the onions and cut them in half.
  • Brush the onions with extra virgin olive oil, arrange them on a baking sheet or dish and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Put the pan in a preheated oven at 220°C and cook for 20-30 minutes until they are tender and golden.
  • Before serving and while they are still hot, splash with a generous amount of balsamic vinegar.
